Michel has extensive experience of participating in research projects
linked to the leather sector. In many projects there
has also
been close involvement with other sectors such as textiles,
printing and food.
We are happy to consider becoming project partners if you
are forming a consortium and would find our skills complementary
to your partnership.
Expertise includes managing and conducting scientific research
to develop new products for use in the leather industry and
improve leather performance. This experience extends right
from the planning stage through to delivery of the final
report. These projects range from relatively small-scale
single client contracts up to large government
funded projects and include the use of scientific equipment
such as:
- Scanning
electron microscopy
- Light
microscopy
- X-ray
microanalysis
- Fourier
transform infra-red spectroscopy (FTIR)
- Differential
scanning calorimetry (DSC)
